WELCOME BACK! PATRICIAN PRODUCTS SALUTES KEN ILVENTO RETURNING TO FIRM IN NEW POSITION AS NATIONAL SALES MANAGER

JANUARY 2007 -- With a warm handshake and a hearty welcome, Don Meglino, President of Patrician Products, Inc., greeted former employee Ken Ilvento, who rejoined the Hicksville, NY, firm and whose office door is emblazoned with a new title, National Sales Manager. Mr. Ilvento, a veteran of some two decades in all aspects of the fencing industry – in manufacturing as well as wholesale and retail selling – previously was a sales executive at Patrician Products for several years before undertaking a four-year stint as national account manager at a large wholesaler of metal and wood fences.

At Patrician Products, which supplies the retail trade and professional landscapers with a wide variety of products including PVT fencing, landscape edging, weed barrier, and other necessities for gardens, yards, and home embellishment, Mr. Ilvento plans to build on a number of notable past successes at the firm. (President Don Meglino credits him with playing a significant role in helping to move Patrician Products lines into such market leaders as the Home Depot and Lowe’s chains.) At his previous employer, says Mr. Ilvento modestly, his expertise resulted in three successive years of sales awards.


Now in his mid-40’s, Ken Ilvento began work in the fencing industry shortly after finishing studies at the New York Institute of Technology. He currently resides on Long Island in a home just a few minutes’ drive to and from his office. Married, and the father of two boys, ages 18 and 24, he acknowledges that his primary outside interest is a sizable new Harley-Davidson bike that he rides on weekends. But even then, he says, he stays close to his family – the older boy now has his own Harley so the two can ride together.
